Croquettes de Vinsobres in bulk

The Biscuiterie de Provence has developed the Croquettes de Vinsobres in bulk in order to share them with as many people as possible and to help them discover our regional Provencal products.

Discover a small traditional biscuit from the Drôme Provençale which contains more than 20% almond, only five ingredients and which crunches generously under the tooth. A biscuit in the shape of an oval slice, slightly browned on top, clear and wonderfully compact inside.

Enjoyed with savoury or sweet dishes, this crunchy almond biscuit goes well with a multitude of dishes. Traditionally dipped in a glass of red wine, the Croquettes de Vinsobres also go wonderfully with sweet and sparkling wines. Enjoy these little biscuits, which are not very sweet, with a Sauterne wine of course, but why not a Muscat de Rasteau or Beaume de Venise nearby ?) or a sparkling wine (a Champagne of course, but also a Clairette de Die from the Drôme !). They can be nibbled on at tea or coffee time, and add a touch of sunshine to aperitifs and desserts. The Croquettes de Vinsobres in bulk are perfect for large tables !

It was in 1908 that this biscuit became part of the Provencal tradition thanks to Henri Chauvet, a baker in the village of Vinsobres, who created the Croquettes de Vinsobres. For more than a century, this little crunchy almond biscuit has been made using the same method. It is traditionally eaten with a good meal to end the moment of pleasure on a sweet note.
