Les Croquettes de Vinsobres

The Croquette de Vinsobres was born in 1908, in the bakery of Henri Chauvet, a baker in the Drôme Provençale village bearing his name. Following the lightning success of this delicious delicacy, Henri decided to register the recipe under the name "Croquettes de Vinsobres" and to trade it. In 1951, he decided to sell his manufacturing secret to Mr. Corbin who in turn sold it to the Bedouin family in 1985. The Croquettes de Vinsobres have become the traditional cookie of the Drôme Provençale, seducing young and old gourmets alike with their unchanged recipe for over a century...
