The Lunes à l'anis was born from a combination of almonds and green anise, reminiscent of the sweetness of Provence.
In this simple recipe based on sugar, almond, egg and green aniseed (and that's all !), the Lunes à l'anis will appeal to palates looking for straightforward biscuits. The first bite is crunchy, but the flavours gradually develop until they become flamboyant, with a very good Arabica for example !
