Croquettes de Vinsobres with almonds

Discover the Croquettes de Vinsobres ! A small traditional biscuit from the Drôme Provençale which contains more than 20% almond and which crunches generously under the tooth.

Croquettes de Vinsobres are made with the greatest care, using a method that perfectly respects the original tradition. Formerly packaged in a metal box, its famous yellow sachet has given it a unique identity for over half a century.

Traditionally dipped in a glass of red wine, the Croquettes de Vinsobres also go wonderfully with sweet and sparkling wines. Enjoy these little biscuits, not very sweet, with a Sauterne of course, but why not a Muscat de Rasteau or Beaume de Venise nearby ?) or a sparkling wine (a Champagne of course, but also a Clairette de Die from the Drôme !) They can be nibbled on at tea or coffee time, and add a touch of sunshine to aperitifs and desserts.

Created in 1908 in Vinsobres in the Drôme Provençale, this delicious traditional almond biscuit is still made according to a century-old method following the same recipe. In 1985, the Bedouin family bought the recipe and perpetuated the traditional production. From now on, the Croquettes de Vinsobres are made at the Biscuiterie de Provence, the 6th generation of the BÉDOUIN family. Our talented pastry chefs still use the same delicious recipe !
